Look, my pc specs are:
AMD phenom II 955 BE
4 gb ddr3
Nvidia GTS250 1gb
Windows 7 - 64bit

And I'm playing Crysis 2, Hardcore graphics @ 1280x1024 full speed
and in Dolphin I play Mario kart Wii fullspeed 4 players.. Yesterday I tried to run MK Wii 2 players with crysis 2 running in background and it reached 45fps..
So I can talk for the phenom II 955.. And it's a great choice..
Play in Dolphin, listen to music and check what's going on in dolphin-forum ar the same time.. If you want an image to prove that just ask me!

You're an asshole! I was telling him what the phenom II 955 can do.. Not just showing numbers from a benchmark what maybe it doesn't tell him nothing!

Dolphin only :

AMD athlon < Intel Pentium Dual Core = AMD Phenom < Intel Core 2 Duo < Intel i3/i5/i7 < Sandy bridge < Ivy Bridge
(same clock speed)

Intel also OC better than AMD but Phenom @ 3.8ghz could run most wii games fullspeed (EFB copy to texture)
I3/i5/i7 can do EFB to Ram without losing much FPS

there are 2 amd phenom with over 3.6ghz
and already the i7 @ 3.2ghz is beating the shit out of his head
i dont want to mention the i7@4.4ghz

You're basing your hate for AMD because of one little thing?
Besides Dolphin isn't everything in life.

Can't really say Dolphin is performing any worse at all with an AMD processor, but sure Intels might have a slight upperhand but it's minimal.

was beaten by every intel i7 above 3.2ghz

that with over 30-100% more performance

you are just trying to defend your 100$ cheaper build (against sandybrdige)
that leads to one point

my first laptop was a amd turion (bullshit)
a had a amd xp2800
a amd 6000+

it was a nice time, but they are faking since them the clock...
there is a difference of 200 to 800mhz between amd and intel
look at benchmarks...

thats just like spiting on customers

and there are only 2 manucfacturs of cpus...
so, just think why they are faking ... they are trying not to drop under 10%

and do you know why DELL / IBM / HP nearly only sells Intel Rigs?
the dont want to shit on there customers with amd faked rigs
quality is expensive

(faking of mhz = the ratio between realtime calculation and mentioned mhz)

Haha I did get the best out of my money, 1600$ (around 11.000 swedish crowns) which is a pretty good build.

Why waste more then you need, I play 99% of the games in Dolphin full-speed, how much faster do I really need them to run.

The only game I don't have full-speed is Twilight Princess but that's because I still using 2.0

You tell me how much more performance I need.

And besides I do have a Intel rig also, why compromise.

did you tried smg with efb to ram? and dsp-lle ?
