Hello,

I want to play Donkey Kong Country but its very slow.
I changed all gfx settings but nothing helps.

What is the Problem?
is it my Computer?
Or wrong ROM?

2.4 GHz Dual Core(and overclock button to 3GHZ)
Ati HD5870
what settings you use?
which Dolphin revision you using?
3GHz CPU seems fine imo, graphics card is good
If you want to play "Donkey Kong Country"
you must download a SNES emulator and the ROM...

BUT,

If you want to play "Donkey Kong Country Returns" it's something very different!
You've a very nice gfx card and a good cpu!
You can easily get some 30 fps! Wink

Get the latest version of the Emulator... you cand find it on www.emucr.com
or the oficial web-site..

Make sure enable DX11 cos' is faster (if you have windows 7)
Good Luck boy Wink

I use Dolphin R7344

Config:
Enable Dual Core [x]
Enable Idle Skipping [x]
Skip GC BIOS [x]
JIT Recompuler [x]

Direct3D9

EFB Copy [x] RAM [x]

DSP HLE emulation (fast) [x]

All other options are disable.
The 3GHz with the Overclockmode works not correctly. at some games i have 5FPS more or less.

I have Asus Notebook G73J (DUAL-CORE version)
Try this
Agree,D3D9 have more FPS than D3D11
Lastest rev run this game slower,I have 40-52 FPS on my lappy (dolphin r6890M 64bit)
Edit : Res 1366x768 , no AA
