I'm not an developer so I don't know anything about coding or Visual Studio.
I think it's on the contrary, I see small improvements the more of the newer revisions I try out.
Could be just me though
Or it could be your freakin' fast i7 2600k
I think it's one of the best buys I have done in a long time, it's amazing to see Dolphin perform this good with this thing.
When I started with Dolphin late 2009, I was using a simple E7400 Core 2 Duo and a 9800GT.
It was a OK experience, I knew that my hardware was limiting and holding back my Dolphin fun.
I made a promise to myself after I bought the i7 2600K, never again shall I have hardware that limits my possibilities to have almost perfect game play.
Anyway the last couple of weeks have been really exciting in the Dolphin scene, I really love these new UI changes in the newer revisions and speed is great.
It's looking good for the upcoming 3.0 release.

If i could only buy i7 2600k, the price of CPU alone is 314,99$ not saying about mobo etc. I would buy Wii for 199,99$ ;P to have perfect game play on wii games ;P
But if you use it for other things then it was nice deal

if only i could buy it

, still saving for NAS

I rarely use my Wii anymore, I mean the games looks so much better on Dolphin now days why ever go back.
The Wii is like watching a black and white VHS cassette from the 80's and Dolphin is like a Blu-Ray HD movie.

I kinda like the comparison

Because it's so true.
It's not a fair comparison because Dolphin relies on many specs that many users can't afford, and for those unfortunate users Dolphin is not the ultimate experience.

The next Nintendo console will support backwards compatibility and 720p. This eliminates any need for people to purchase overpriced computers.

But how well will the upscaling be?
My PS3 upscales all my PS2 games, but they look nowhere near as good as upscaled GCN games on Dolphin...

My thoughts exactly.
I may be one of the few privileged to have a powerful enough computer to use Dolphin with as a fully fledged substitute for my Wii and GameCube games but it was my own choice to build this overpriced computer and I won't settle for anything less image quality wise.
Dolphin is everything I wanted the Wii/GameCube to be.
Wii 2 is not worth my time, I rather upgrade my computer instead.
