Candles emit IR light, so they can be used as a sensor bar.
thats really cool but now i thought a little bit about it and now i got question. I could buy two LED's and place it on my tv this should work too right??
Yes. You just need to connect the to batteries so they can work.

I read that the wireless sensor bars go through batteries pretty fast, so I bought one of these: Nextronics Sensor Bar
It gets power through a regular USB cable. In my case, I plug it into my TV -- it has a USB port that is able to supply power to the sensor bar. Mine also came with a power adapter that plugs into a North American wall socket and can supply power to a USB device.
