800x640 with my i7@2,8ghz 100%
1920x1080 with my i7@2,8hz 70-80%
1920x1080 with my i7@4ghz 100%

think about it

O_O

anyway i just want to play fullscreen at 1366x768 at regular "wii fps"..i don't care about aliasing, filter or stuff like that.
I just got this notebook (in my sig) ,It run dolphin nowhere compare to my desktop Pentium Dual Core 3.5Ghz (even i5 @ 2.93Ghz can't beat e5300 @ 3Ghz Sad )
-->Stock speed win large cache
Test with the last story
Average FPS when vs dragon boss
I5 @ 2.93 (no Anti-Alias ,1366x768,EFB to Ram) : 12 FPS
E5300 @ 3Ghz (AA 4x ,1366x768,EFB to Ram) : 14 FPS
E5300 @ 3.5Ghz (AA 4x,1366x768,EFB to Ram) : 17 FPS
Yeah, just because its an I5 doesn't mean it'll be better than another processor with a higher clock rate. Sad
yes but only
+-200 to 300mhz between old intels
600-800mhz between amd

dont think that the i5 is twice as fast... its only 10-20%

It is, but that is a mobile i5. Mobile i5 are weaker than their desktop equivalents, just as in laptop graphics. So it could be that a core 2 duo beats it.

(Just asmobility radeon 5770 will be much, much worse than a dedicated 5770 desktop card)
99% of laptops use really lame equipment and think they can trick people into buying it by naming all the parts the same as desktop hardware like: "i7" or "nvidia gtxxx". in reality, you should look up specific benchmarks of laptop performance before purchasing. and really, why do people buy them to play games on anyway? for 1k dollars you could build a desktop that runs dolphin good... and spend a couple hundred on a cheap laptop. OR you could spend 1300 on a laptop that looks cool, but girls at school will just think you are a nerd for having such a big laptop and you will be utterly disappointed at the performance/cost ratio.
