The one from the zelda guys gets very slow. Like 6 FPS and it stays slow during the space station.

These are just older revisions , my computer runs my games pretty well with the new builds so I just dont bother with oldies...
If you cant find your stuff here , just google the rev you re looking for.
No other ideas.

tested older revisions here, but continue too slow on my computer : A64 3500+, 2gb RAM, 8600gt.

intro runs ok but after start a new game game runs slooooooow, 5fps average.
Your processor isn't that powerful, that is why. A single core Athlon64 3500+ is going to be quite a bit slower than say a Core2Duo/Core2Quad/AMD Phenom/Core i7..

Try using Pcsx2 with it as well, you'll notice that this processor as any last generation processor just isn't adequate for CPU intensive emulation, both Dolphin and Pcsx2 require quite a bit of CPU power and a beast of a machine to run decently.

Sorry but there is not much you are going to be able to do in terms of improving speed with that processor. Metroid Prime even lags on my Core2Duo E8500, although it is still quite playable.
Hmmm, I'll just wait till I get a new PC in august. Then I'll start doing some emulating. I still don't get why I can run crysis on high settings with a decent fps and not metroid Sad

Oh well I'm going to rent through gamefly instead

I use no different settings than everyone else, it's just that my Core2Duo is more adequate for CPU intensive emulation than say a Pentium 4, AMD Athlon64, Athlon64 x 2 is. Even an AMD Phenom is not adequate in some cases when compared against a Core2Duo (E6xxx - E8xxx) or Core2Quad.

Correct me if I'm wrong, bur Amd Turions are a bid out of date, aren't they?

Yes and not only that, but aren't they laptop processors? Laptop processors will always be less powerful than their desktop counterparts. Even the desktop version of an AMD Athlon64 x 2 isn't adequate enough for decent performance in emulators such as PCSX2 and Dolphin.

same problem on my c2d 3ghz, so much for that Sad
