Well, if you build them by yourself, you will never run in to this problem :p.

well... someone should bench and see just how much sse3 increases performance.
But that depends on the cpu and the build and how it was compiled. Plus their is a speedup just from using ICC regardless of which sse flag you're using. Technically dolphin uses sse3 code regardless of how you compile it.
