This is not a true statement, the clock speed doesn't = real speed.
As an example, I can overclock a Pentium 4 to 4 Ghz and it will still be slower than a Core 2 Duo, i5 or i7 Under clocked to 2.0Ghz.
lol.
hey idiot, don't correct me.
Hey idiot, you're not the smartest one here.
true, but smarter than 98.7% of the users here ain't bad.
(02-17-2011, 12:03 AM)Fantasy_emulation Wrote: [ -> ]Unfortunately, even with your setting, load cpu max is again 60%. with lock thread to core, it's worse.
I don't understand

4cores = 60% CPU LOAD (with Hyperthreading)
2cores = 100% CPU LOAD (without Hyperthreading)
dolphin only supports 2,1 cores.. (0,1 for some shitty or audio?!)
that why you dont get 100% cpu load with more cores
dolphin only use 2
lock thread to core is bad, because windows jumps between cores,
some cores are maybe in some state of busy and working...
cause of that windows automatically jumps to a free core and if you lock dolphin to a core... the option to jumping to a free slot is closed
(not only dolphin is running every windows task(up to 60tasks) are running why you are gaming and they need cpu time
and if its 0,005%CPU Load it still takes 1core into a busy state)
dont disable hyperthreading
it improves your overall system performance (5-10% more speed)
cause of that you only can achive 60% cpu load... with 4 cores
math it...
4core * 0,6 = 2,4
2core * 1 =2
0,4 more system speed

if any one of the lower 98.7 percentile of users here spent as much time on these forums as you do, they would probably be very well practiced at keeping a facade of intelligence. intellectual ability is not proven by a demonstration of simple memorization. an autistic person could troll these forums and recite information for settings that at some point developers, who personally either designed or implemented, commented in their commit.
does picking on the mentally handicapped provide you with pleasure? it is much easier to trip someone and laugh at them while they fall than to help someone who has fallen get back up.
some of us spend time on these forums to help other people who haven't spent as much time here. then there are the small percentage of people whose self esteem relies on instances where they refer to arbitrary forum users with derogatory names and then falsely believe that their accumulated knowledge on the subject indicates a higher level of intelligence.
Intelligence is the ability to figure things out on your own. It has nothing to do with preexisting knowledge, which squall is very good at. If you search google you will find that squall has spent the last decade helping those who try to help themselves and insulting everyone else.

yeah, like unknown force who provides a service for forum users by compiling and hosting dolphin builds. he simply clarifies something squall posted, which was vague enough to be interpreted in a number of ways. squall replies by calling him an idiot. when he isn't too busy insulting those that fall into the "everyone else" category he likes to insult people who fall into the "trying to help others" category.
consider it encouragement to be more.

If you can explain how you got to this question from what Squall said, you'd make a great writer for Glenn Beck.
Also, you're not alone in your arbitrary struggle against him. People come along with their insults every so often, but they all wise up. I have no clue why you all choose to annoy those with the biggest impacts on the emulation scene. You should see some of the rants Mudlord was driven into.
