Yes...that's what i think sometimes, when "too many polygons" are being rendered on-screen, it slow down, but my PC is probably good enough to run it at full speed all the time, so the emulator might be the cause here.

Quote:I love the improvements made to the GFX for games, introduced by NeoBrainX, but unfortunately I can not use them, because of the slowness in latest versions.

Which changes?

Configuration Video per single game. Big Grin

Anyway i ve already tried the 6970.
Its a little slowest compared to 6901, but just 1-3% Wink

U cant see the difference with only 1 game...specially with SMG2 actually isnt perfect in emulation.
Try more games.
And remember...if in 2 release (6970 and 7150) u reach the 100% try with disable fps limit
(02-16-2011, 10:32 AM)NaturalViolence Wrote: [ -> ]Personally I don't see any difference in performance at all between 6970 and 7150. Both give me 70% speed in world 2 mario ship in SMG2 with use fps for limiting on and audio throttle off.

Actually, Big slowdown started from r7158 when there was changes of FIFO.

you can try comparing r7150 vs r7168 (this build is the closest one to compare the speed difference, you can get from Xtemulation)...

I really understand that this is SVN Build. I can only hope & pray that developer gonna bring speed back to dolphin on latest revision...
