Hey Guys !
i am using mamario's build R7124 X64 .... when i tried Zelda twilight Princess [gamecube version] ... i found that the map is properly generated using copy efb->texture ! how amazing !!
But there's a problem... i know it must be a hack (very cool one by the way

) but when i try to change any option (pressing alt+tab to change anything or even pressing a hotkey) the map turns grey again !!
I tried this build with nsmbwii and i found the the coins still dont spin (i thought it would be fixed as its also a EFB copy issue).... Wired

its not using EFB to texture, theres a new per game property for EFB to Texture and it is unticked in the zelda profile, so the game starts with efb to ram.
Didnt know that ! but how come the speed is totally not affected !?
i mean i have no extreme slowdowns or anything ??
about ~28FPS most of the time

EDIT : also it doesn't explain why its turned off when i press alt+tab to change a setting in DX9 ?!
magic cpu instructions?
actually the performance needs some work, the latest builds have about a 20fps penalty with efb to ram enabled.
There's no slowdown with ZTP with EFB to Ram, due to the fact it doesn't make heavy use of EFB to Ram. NSMB has some big slowdowns with EFB to Ram but only on unoptimized builds. My old Core2duo E8500 was able to achieve between 45 FPS - 56 FPS in NSMB with EFB to Ram on an SSE4.1 optimized build. With my Core i7 950 OC'd to 4 Ghz, I get full speed in NSMB with EFB to Ram and an SSE4.2 optimized build. With some games such as SMG/SMG2 I lose 10 FPS with EFB to Ram which is weird considering this game doesn't really make use of and EFB to Ram functions and is just fine with texture.
Thnx Guys for quick replies

who you kidding, it easily knocks off 30FPS with uncapped :p

Depends where you are. It will rape performance in large areas like lanayru (or whatever it's called), hyrule field, or faron woods. My framerate in hyrule field is about 8 fps with efb to ram and ZTP hack, 24 fps with efb to texture and ZTP hack. A 66% drop in performance sounds pretty significant to me. And by the way this is with an sse3 optimized build.
EFB to Ram or Texture makes no difference to me, each gives me about the same performance. I get about 28 FPS - 30 FPS in Hyrule Field even with EFB to Ram and without the speed hack..
You have an i7 setup with insane memory read/write performance. So unlike me you're able to achieve fullspeed even with efb to ram on.
