Well I'm trying to run Majora's Mask virtual console game with Dolphin but after showing a message telling me I will need the classic controller and then showing the N64 logo the screen just keeps dark and the FPS runs down to 0 from the 60 it was.
* I use windows 7, intel core i3, 4 gb ram.
Thanks in advance.
god helps those who help themselves.
explore the wiimote configuration screen some more.
on another smarter note, use an n64 emulator as the virtual console edition of majora's mask has known game breaking issues.
God doesn't exist.
Another option is the GC Zelda: Collector's Edition which includes Majora's Mask. It works fine for me, although I never played long enough to save, so there may be problems further down the line. Amazing game, but a pretty frustrating way to start it...

actually,... correction
the VC version is fixed, its the wii that might freeze
the GC version freezes often.

Why don't you just use a N64 emulator ? N64 emulators are way less power-demanding than Dolphin and emulation is nearly perfect.

maybe the vc versions have better rez textures?
no, its just a wad packed n64 rom. you can unpack it and play it on n64 emulators.
the output resolution is just higher.

oh, tight. i didnt realize they contained an actual n64 rom. i can say that i played majora's mask about 5-6 years ago on the project64 emulator with no issues whatsoever.
Saw this on here when clicking the game area, but I have to just say it. WHy do people bother with games that emulate perfectly fine on the emulators they were intended for? You can still get all the nice features as if you were using Dolphin, all you have to do is look for hi res plugins, like Glide64.
I use Dijipi's cel shaded hi res textures for this and OOT.

I second you here. These games are N64 games. They should be played with N64 system or emulators
