well... your pc can only run so fast. snes emulation isnt near as cpu intensive so you can easily emulate at 20x speed. unlike dolphin where emulating at 2x speed can be difficult.

my specs are:

OPERATING SYSTEM:
Windows 2.6.0.6001 (Service Pack 1)
CPU TYPE:
Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz
CPU SPEED (GHZ):
2.35
SYSTEM MEMORY (GB):
4.00
VIDEO CARD MODEL:
NVIDIA GeForce GT 120

Shouldn't that be good enough to speed things up a little?
Your GPU sucks

your cpu is a little slow too. im not saying you wont be able to run some games full speed, im just saying you shouldnt expect to run them significantly faster than that.
To use the turbo, hold the tab key down in Dolphin.

Just pressing tab? that didn't work for me either.

Have you tried holding the [TAB] key? Seems to work for me in Super Monkey Ball 2. Haven't tried in other games yet
