No but he insists on using efb to ram which might benefit from overclocking the ram (although the memory controller and hypertransport might still bottleneck it). In any game that uses a lot of framebuffer effect efb to ram will create a bottlenck in memory read/write/copy performance.
You have a BE cpu with an unlocked profile, and you haven't overclocked it? I've got my Athlon II x3 overclocked, and still trying to go higher with it.
Use Lectrode's R6890-SSE3-X64 , use DX9 plugin and Turn on "disable vbeam hack " in game options and you'll see significant speedups .. specially sonic colors ,Kirby's epic yarn,sonic unleashed (almost 95~100% speed on my PC).
for SMG/SMG2 i also got some good sppedup but the only problem with this option - in this build - is it wont let you use the Cursor , so you've got to use it while playing the stages that u dont need it in...!
