I have a question and i guess a request.
Your all making great strides with Dolphin keep it up guys ( u know who you are) ,but i was thinking, if i compress a few iso`s with the compressor built into dolphin and this code changes down the line to say allow high compression, will this break the format?
And would it not be a better option to offload the compression to say 7zip format, this would allow a popular filetype to be used by emulators, rom checkers, torrentzips etc...

Smile
We probably won't ever break support for the gcz format.
Dolphin also removes junk data from the wii discs, which 7zip would not be able to do.
Discs would not compress nearly as much if that data was not ignored.

Didnt know it removed garbage data, thanks.
When the time comes for tools such as clrmame to do checks against dats i`m sure someone will have came up with a plan.

One more question sorry , is there a way to use the the built in compressor to do more than one iso at a time, say to queue up 10 discs to be processed.
I just like gettin things orderly Tongue
does dolphin remove any fmv's, background music etc?
DarkTrancer, yes, just select more than one game, then right-click.
