Full Version: Suggestion to add Async Mix in LLE (for a more pleasant sound).

LLE appears to use timestretch Mode, this mode is only good if you have fullspeed (100% speed constant), since the async mode, you will have a good music even if you are not running on fullspeed (like SMG1 and 2 MKWii, DKCR, Metroid Prime 1 and 2)
Would look like HLE, the music would not be slow.Big Grin

No it doesn't.

nope.

Squall, LLE does support time stretching according to the developers, the other two points are correct though.

Not sure if the brief pauses when the game isn't running full speed will ever be able to be resolved, some mentioned that audio smoothing will fix that while developers mentioned that due to the nature of LLE that this isn't possible since LLE is in perfect sync with the cpu, unlike HLE that runs ahead of the cpu thus speeding things up. It's either slow audio or brief pauses/skips in the audio, this keeps the audio in sync with the video/cpu. Since LLE is accurate, it is most likely not possible to run the audio thread ahead of the cpu thread, not to mention running the audio thread ahead of the cpu causes audio syncing issues. Although as computers get faster and/or the LLE plugin is optimized this won't be an issue since it will be possible to run games full speed, eliminating the pauses or slow audio output with LLE.
shh, i was responding to the "appears"

if he can't even tell what it does and doesn't do, how can we trust his suggestions xD
