Already tried that. It does not work with integral or fractional. I also tried restarting both the game and the emulator several times. It seems to be broken, period (at least for me).

9xSSAA still work but I can't get full speed with it.
Here's the solution:
Just enable virtual XFB with fractional and 4xSSAA will work again.
But it worked without virtual xfb until recently (within the last 100 revisions). I shouldn't have to do that.

Work very well!

Don't use Fractional!

but why is it so good with x4 ssaa in r6385 and not in newer versions? i know that it is well when you set it to 9x, but this slows down games very much Sad
Some points of interest:
-changing the efb scale did not work
-2x, 3x, and fractional all show no difference between 4xSSAA and no SSAA
-9xSSAA appears to be working
-both 4xSSAA and 9xSSAA appear to be increasing gpu load

I talked to neobrain on irc and he's stumped. He said if we want to fix it we'll have to trace it down to a particular revision so he can do a revert.

Edit: 4xSSAA works in windowed mode but not fullscreen. Haven't tested with progressive scan off yet. Currently tracing the revision. So far I've got it down to between 6548-6573. I should have the exact revision that caused it by the end of the day.

Edit again: Cause is 6549. I have informed neobrain.

NOTE: all settings are the same in both versions!
fail proof.

its working.
Yeah, that is quite antialiased. If you want it near perfect you're gonna need more than 4X... but when you zoom in like that you'll probably still gonna notice some jaggies like here:

This is happening with both Nvidia and AMD (ATI)???
....sigh.

Not for me.

It's much easier to see on moving objects for some reason. It's EXTREMELY noticeable though, you'd have to be totally f**king blind to not notice the horrible aliasing on everything. In any revision after 6549 4xSSAA yields no difference vs. no ssaa whatsosever, terrible aliasing either way. Any revisions before 6549 with 4xSSAA aliasing is almost completely gone. It's broken for me. MSAA still works though.
