i currently have a sandy I5 2500k and it is anything but crap! very impressive chip. As soon as my warranty replacement board is sent out to me to fix the sata issue i will be ditching the stock cooler and getting something with more meat. am confident it will hit 4.5ghz with ease - it does 4.1ghz at 1.2v......... (it just gets too hot unless i put a big ass fan on it when running prime)
the 2600k is the better chip no argument but the difference is small and for most gamers i would say not worth the extra wedge.
