The requirements for this game are quite high.
Let's say that I had to OC my processor to about 3.8 GHz to play this game at fullspeed.

Hi darkshadw!
Nice topic!!! We need this!
For a little speedup, try to disable "Emulate format changes" | Anisotropic to 1x | Disable "Force Bi/Trilinear Filtering" - Enable OpenCL.
Just try
Okay, I will, thx ^_^!
Hmm, it didn't really give me more FPS at the title screen (I get 54 FPS there, no matter what settings).
I use the r6784 and i can play almost full speed.
The first level (1-1) i gain 25fps but after the fps increase from 25 to 28 min , 31 max.
Mmmmh....Dunno

30 is max :p. (If I'm right.)
ye i know. its a 30 fps game, like re umbrella, 0, archives, sonic colours etc

I have a very similar processor, a Phenom II X4 935, and yeah, it doesn't quite cut it at the 10% OC to 3.3GHz that I've been doing. I'm getting 24 FPS on average. It feels like I'm playing Sonic Unleashed Wii! My CPU gets hot enough as it is so I think I'll just wait for some further optimizations before playing this game.
Wasn't there a topic before?
Nvm, the first rev that moved the audio plugin settings to the general options menu broke a workaround for the "black screen after SEGA logo" bug, which was to quickly enable and disable "HLE Audio" while the SEGA logo was playing, you can't do that anymore after the audio settings were moved.
Since the old projection hack presets were removed, there's no convenient setting to fix the projection of Sonic Colours now.
How should Sonic Colors be configured?
heh, ask gnick79...
I hope he at least re-introduces the old hacks as an alternative.
