DolphinForMac!

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaase!! Can You?

Then it could be in the Donwload section, could it?

Remember that some reports have been done :

1. the general tab of settings I cannot change any settings the same goes for the dsp lle plugin setup;

2. njoy 0.3 doesn't work the setup window is all grayed out

3. njoy 0.4 thinks that A-0 axis is always on and gives the wierd tilting screen bug when playing ssbm

4. fails to launch a game if dsp lle is selected

5. it crashes upon stopping emulation

6. there are a few graphical bugs in menus (missing text on memory card warning before th game starts)

7. with HLE dsp the audio is really choppy and cuts in and out

8. video averages lower than 5fps but at times it will jump to full speed regardless of whats going on onscreen

9. as far as i'm concerned, Dolphin crashed w/ all games..

Do you think you could possibly arrange these bugs?

Will you guys seriously just compile it from source, I mean really now, it's not that hard. You probably need XCode and dependencies, but you don't have to waste time getting it to work.
as far as I can tell dolphin for mac x86 seem to have a lot the same problems as the early 32 bit builds of dolphin pre rev100.

1.njoy 0.4 has always had the A-0 and tilt screen bug on any os(for me at least) so there is nothing wrong with the njoy 0.4 port
2.njoy 0.3 won't work on mac unless rewritten due to its dependency on the win32 api(maybe something could be worked out using darwine download here)
3.ssbm is the only game that even launches on os x all others crash(something that happened in really early win32 builds as well)
4. the lack of ability to change settings in the general tab and hle or lle dsp plugin(probably due to devs locking then because they catastrophically crash the emu or bugs in the mac version of wxwidgets)
5. trying to launch the config for the wiimote hangs the emu (this is most likely due to some incompatibilities with the bluetooth libraries)

Ok, Ok. I'll make a video and upload it tommorrow when I have the time. What I can tell you now is that it's nowhere near enjoyably playable.
Okay so i updated the nvidia cg toolkit to 2.2 and that fixed the error above, but i still cannot play any games. Here is the error i get from Mac OS X error reporter:

I get a segfault on Linux too Sad

Someone please fix the *nix builds!
i agree with gcp111! please have people spend more time on the mac/linux builds! i know we don't all like to boot into windows just to play our favorite emulator Wink

Use Wine on Linux and VirtualBox on Mac ^^

lol, wine running an emulator... the world would explode. Tongue

Virtualbox would be slow, even with 3D accelerated OpenGL. :\

Oh, and just so you know, I'm pretty sure wine runs on mac too Tongue
