JackyCola: I am sorry to have delayed on updating your translation. I assure you that by the end of today your updated file will be added to svn.

thegfw: Thanks for your simplified Chinese translation. I will look at it.

Siegried: Perhaps I will do a little more testing and look into what charset Korean needs to use, but I will add your translation. It seems to work for you so I am convinced.
When I said before to attach your files in this thread instead of using a file hosting service, I said that to avoid having to go to sites like megaupload.com and filehosting.org. Those sites are annoying. I don't want to have to wait a minute to download a file (megaupload.com), or even worse have to add my email to a spam list to be able to download a file (filehosting.org).

On the other hand if you can provide a direct static link to your translation files, like JackCola and a few others have done, that is even better than an attachment.

Thank you =) Sorry i was impatiend. I now understand that it took some time.

@ JackCola
Refresh game list =? DSP-LEE einbinden
Noch sehr viele Groß/Kleinschreibungsfehler
Einzahl/Mehrzahl etc.

@glennric
Correct this in the Dolphin-emo.pot
line 1689
"Can cause slowdown, but some games need this option enabled to work properly.\n"
line 2846
"Keyboard Shortcut <TAB>: Hold down to instantly disable Throttle.\n"
LucasX: Those lines are correct in dolphin-emu.pot. Your changes are not. The dolphin-emu.pot file is automatically generated from the source. The comments above the strings tell which files in the source the strings come from. Look in the source code and you will see that these are correct. If you feel that these look bad with your translation you can make any adjustments you need in the translation itself.
@Lucas: As I said in my first comment about your translation: you are using not the actual versions.

I think this is caused by the way poedit handles the strings. If some are removed and others added the new files get the numbers that became free. If those had translations the translations are kept.

However your versions cant be used in the releasse. Anyhow i will check again and then report a complete list of what of those are good and we can discuss about the others.

Sorry in advance if I dont finish thad today, depends on how many changes you made.

ok, i see.
Do you have font file of korean like gulim.ttc ?
I don't know much about fonts.
All world's os has default same fonts sets ?
Our lang's each character normally need 2Byte and is not alphabet base.

(I searched some info)
UTF-8's korean each char required 3Byte. English 1Byte.
Okay, everything updated in the first post Wink
If you post new links please say what language is it for (I cant memorize everyone's languages) Big Grin

@ runo and glennric: Ill post a file below. This is not for updating. It is only for me and lucasX to work on the next version for an update. I'll announce and flame loud as soon as it will be Big Grin
(just telling so that you don't waste time updating that one)

@ LucasX: I finished comparing our versions. I commented a lot of changes and fixed/overtook stuff. I made a list with all things our translations disagree with explanation why.

Inb4: If there are only a few changes you request, make a list. If there are many please edit this file but leave the old stuff out plx.

Here the ordered list of differences in our versions from top to bottom. With explanations and reasons given:
Don't read if you are not interested in german translation^^ Wrote:
-> Added you to the team field
-> fixed space in "too many to display"
-> I translate the logical operators. They are just used for button names which then add the real operators.
-> About... -> Über Dolphin... - An extra word. Differs on comon programs. I dont care I changed it.
-> "Browse for ISOs" - I translate "search for" you translate "open". Since I refer to other programs and the dictionary I prefer "Suchen"
-> "Delete ISO" -> ISO Löschen vs. Delete ISO - In german those menu options translate to "Datei öffnen, Datei speichern, Seite einrichten..." in all comon programs. It's always 'Name Verb' so we should go with this trend.
-> Frame stepping is still not frame Skipping. Please understand that.
-> "Open..." - > "Datei öffnen" -> I prefer the version with "Datei" because most german programs do that. I agree on "Öffnen..." but the & accelerator goes to f as usual.
-> I changed some sentences for the tooptips. But at that point its more about "design" and not functionallity.
-> I was wrong with "Audio Throttle" but we should not translate it. It's often used in the forums and people might be confused if looking for it.
-> Nouns are combined in german (speicherkarte), devided in english (memory card) and when using english words in german, or mixing english and german its usually done by - (Memory-Card). I overtook some of those and kept some of those. (Wiimote Einstellungen e.g. is one I kept) I think this has more visual character than actually important for the translation
-> The explination about Analog Button Treshold - Yours says "the treshold for buttons to aktivate _something_" A: You translate the word "treshold" but the tooltip is there to explain it. B: "etwas auslösen" - the buttons are activated, they dont activate something.
-> You win the "Images". Image is known well enough by german users, tough bruning software says "abbild erstellen". Going with Image in case of emulation software will be understood ^^
-> Why you think a CPU is male? It is "die central processing unit" = "die zentrale prozessor einheit" but it is "der prozessor" There is no gender change in translation it.
-> Same applies to RFI. We can leave it untranslated to "Alternate
-> Numpad Begin - You win again. But I have no clue which key that is. Also applies to NP Decimal and NP Seperator. Both , (Komma)?
-> Notice - Notizen vs Notiz - Where in dolphin guy is this?
-> Accepted "Farbtiefe". "Pixel Lightning" stays untranslated (comonly used, even has german wiki article)
-> "Post Processing" also well known. I know it can be translated but the english version used more often and also well known.
-> Again for "Projection Hack" - inmho this is the name of that hack and anyway since "hack" isn't translated why translate half of the word. Additional the German word "Projektion" isn't comonly used in that relation. Proper translation would be "Darstellungs-(Hack)" which sounds like mixed or half-translated. I dont know a better word for hack.
-> Changed "hardware adapter" away from direct translation to what it actually means.
-> "set" -> Setze vs Setzen - I dropped both for "Zuweisen". For that use it is the most understandable thing which fits in the small box."Setzen/setze" do not deliver the message of what will happen when clicking it.
-> I'd like to keep a few words like "Standard-Speicherkarte" - I know your "Standardspeicherkarte" is correct by dictionary. But it's so much easier to read/find if catchphrases are capitalized. Even in the Poedit settings this formatting is used in the german translation (just as example so you dont think i do against the world).
-> At this point thank you for fixing a lot of typos and mistakes i made. I dont name them all because I accept them and therefore there is no need to discuss it.
-> Didnt change JAP to Japan. This is not a mistake, there is an idea behind writing US, JAP and PAL because those are the 3 main Regions consoles are build for. (see region menu - its even seperated)
-> part about memcards (show save comment, show save icon, show save banner) the word save always refers to the "savegame" you translated as "show saved icon" instead of "the icon of the savegame" which changes the meaning quite a bit. Possible alternative would be "Symbol des Spielstandes anzeigen", "Speichersymbol anzeigen" or without save: "Symbol anzeigen, Kommentar anzeigen..."
-> Show Unknown -> as far as I can see it is used in view->show regions and since there can be more than one unknown region it translates to plural "unbkanntE anzeigen"
-> Screenshot, Skip Frames,... all words that are used in german and well known
-> Snapshot - again you translated 1:1 but it has a totally different meaning as the german word "schnappschuss". So I left it untranslated. You wanted the word "speicherabbild" so bad - here was your chance =)
-> "globale Einstellung/en. Wenn we talk about multiple boxes we have to talk about multiple settings. To have it singlular we needed "Ein ... bedeutet"
-> In den Vollbildmodus - Didn't use it because it "toggles" and "change to" does not imply pushing it again will bring you back. (I bet everyone can figure out but that way its more correct)
-> Vertical Blanks - 1:1 Translation again. The way you translate it means "vertical spaces (as space between typed words)" - But this is about actually drawing the display lines. A line here is too short to explain it.
-> EFB to RAM tooltip: Fixed some stuff, but "der genaue T-cache" is wrong. There are 4 steps (off, fast, normal and save) therefore the word "genauer" is right.

Check again. I made compromises a lot. Check and tell me what is really important for you or what is totally wrong as it is.

Edit: Haha, the link: http://evilbee.de/dolphin/german_temp.rar here we go.
