@ JackyCola
I had superimposed the file with this in WinMerge:

This is not your current file?
i had made a Simplified Chinese Translation

you can import with svn:

Ye. I actually fixed a lot of things. Especially all the plugin stuff, that i couldnt see in windows.

As I said, let me finish the first "stable" version and after that single translations can be updated or discussed. At this time it ends up in more work like I now have to put both version together to one file.

Right now I am merging your and mine latest version and the reult should be good enough to have it in the svn version. After that single translations can be discussed.

Maybe there should be an official topic to discuss the translations of specific things? Or do this here? There are always some things that can be translated different and other people have other opinions about.

This could be because I do not have the necessary fonts or charsets installed. If you can verify that this works on your system I will add it.

OK, I see.
Some screen captures will be oK?
Wait a moment.
I will translate new pot now.

Look at this site's pictures that I post.

Korean is 2Byte's char.

In my Poedit Settings,
I choose Charset: utf-8
and I dont know "Source code charset:"
so I left it none.

In po file, not sure but some doubt this.
This was default 8bit.
"Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit\n"
Is right in our laguage?
Our laguage is 16bit set.

Then, do I have to edit this to 16bit?

Vista64(sp2) and dolphin64
I will soon test in xp32 and dolphin32 too. ==> no problems.
Updated the Polish version.
@Runo please change the link to my translation. I placed it on my dropbox so the link allways will be the same, I'll post when changes are made.

Dolphin Polish Translation

I too would like to know what other polish users think about my translation, if there are any Tongue
(01-08-2011, 05:59 AM)KHRZ Wrote: [ -> ]Alright I've done a complete Norwegian translation. I wasn't quite sure about all the info for the po-file, this is what I wrote...

Project name and version: Dolphin Emu r 6769
Team: Norwegian (should this have been the Dolphin team? Oh well)
Team's email address: e-k-nut@hotmail.com (mine)
Language: Norwegian Bokmål
Country: NORWAY
Charset: utf-8

In there is also a .txt with some notes for possible improvements, if you want to improve something look there for ideas. Some computer terms are probably better left untranslated (as no one really uses the Norwegian terms anyway...)
UPDATE 1/8/2011: Small fixes, nothing big

If you don't mind I could look throu your translation and look for mis-spelling and maybe change some terms. Wink
Good Big Grin

Be sure the to use the last version from my post (it's not in Dolphin yet, just replace the file there if you want to view it in Dolphin. I already fixed some errors)
It has some fuzzy markings, but probably some unmarked things that could be questionable to.
Well, it wasn't much I did. But I hope this helps a bit.
I just changed some of the lines in there and rewrote some of you allready had translated.

Ok I'll put that in my first post.
BTW I considere "Wii" as an English word, therefore using '-' in 'Wii-kontroll' etc, but yeah I guess it's also a Norwegian word... which is good, cause all those '-' looked terrible.
Here it is! The latest version of German!

Here the file:

http://www.evilbee.de/dolphin/de.rar
(You can update in first post, it will stay the same)

Updates:
Compared to the actual SVN Version: Everything ^^
Worth mentioning:
&Accelerators, Proper Translation, Fixed Upper-Lower Case, Changed some things for better understanding, only 1 string untranslated... and on.

@LucasX
Quote:I Merged it with your translation. Thank you so far.
Infos to that one:
-> I took most of your Capitalization. I thought that would help for better overview, but skipped the thought for proper translation.
-> Updated some of the long tooltip textes by mixing our translations or finding even better.
-> I took some of your translations where you were just better =)
-> You translated sometimes more as needed. E.g. if the technique is called "Post Processing Shader" then it's somehow a name and should stay intact, and not get partially translated.
-> Sometimes you translated things 1:1 but without any relation to what it technically means (e.g: "wait for vertical blanks" you translated to what means "space(key)" but technically vertical blanks are something completely different.
-> Frame Stepping is not Frame Skipping.
-> I disagree with your translation of "State". It is "Status" in german and everyone understands. Also a few others, I always tried to use the most common translation and style so that everyone should know what it means.
-> I also looked for the style and formatting, so some errors are only for overview or better understanding. (e.G. Grafik Einstellungen instead of Grafikeinstellungen)

The file is now pretty good. But ofc there can be improvements or mistakes. Just post the changes and Ill update it and/or give reasons why this is bad. As mentioned there are always things that can be discussed in translation. Just do me a favor and post it, I had to spend over an hour to merge the both files.
