Meh, I knew it wouldn't be long before this kind of discussion reached this thread. Right now, the only thing that's holding up the translation project is, in my opinion, the lack of a good way to version the POT file chronologically (which really isn't about GIT, I've aways wanted a separate numbering for the file, would make things much easier, just wasn't enough motivation to poke Glennric or any other dev about it, until the switch). Of course, we also need a pot file update, but that can be arranged when it makes any sense. Right now, wouldn't help much, not much significant GUI changes.
Anyways, Pascal, complaining about this will lead to nothing, the devs are sure about what they want, and from a project management point of view, GIT is really much better. I respect and support the change, and if there is one day when I can't adapt to a decision made by the developers, who I see as the project managers/maintainers, aside from just devs, I'll just go away. Really man, I'm trying not to be rude with you, and I'm not criticizing you opinion, but when we changed to a separate repository, you complained about that. Now that we're back, you complain even more. Give it a break, dude. What I'me saying is that it's better to support the changes then try to walk against them, even if you don't agree to it. You aways have the option to leave, but you are a good guy to work with, so don't waste it
About the lack of pot updates, just give it some more time, there are still things needed to be settled down.
Now, if we're done with the arguing/complaining, Neobrain, could you tell me how the devs feel about using the Dolphin repository to commit the translation related changes, now that there is no more numbering? Is it alright now?
If not, what do you suggest?
Thx.
