@JackyCola
So whether somebody is currently looking at the translation now ...?
But if you want to control it, so you take the best current version (R6856) to check.

Yeah, I just saw it comming that people would translate ANYTHING SOMEHOW without having a single clue, that's why I wanted to step in as proof reader or sth, but turns out that glenn is ignoring that ;P
I'm keeping an eye on the translation, but my main problem is that it's just too much stuff, i.e. it takes too much of my time to look all over it. Actually many strings shouldn't be translated at all, or translated differently, which kinda sucks...
Anyway, once this initial flood of translation fixes has settled, I'm sure quality will be more easy to improve.
Okay, lots going on. So I will commit most of the updated translations soon.
NeoBrainX: I will leave the German translation for you to commit once you, JackyCola, and LucasX have sorted things out.
coffeeholic, Thiagorowof, Runo: Thanks for the new language. To help you and future new translators here is a link to a little excerpt on locale naming:
http://www.gnu.org/software/gettext/manual/gettext.html#Locale-Names
For Brazilian Portuguese the locale is pt_BR, language code then country code. Hence the po file name should be pt_BR.po. Of course I will fix it anyway. If you are doing a base translation for a language then you omit the country code.
@LucasX: I do not want to control it, NeoBrain wants. I was just saying that you and me together fix each others mistakes to get a perfect version.
@NeoBrain:
Last time LucasX and I were at a "final" translation state and it was almost perfect. I sent you a PM but you didn't reply. And if you have changed or complained something you didn't post it here or inform us about...
For the first final version we worked for many hours over 3 days until we named it "final".
Now you step in, did nothing useful before, and start complaining about the very first attempt of the new translation strings, which are far away from giving them to glennirc for commiting.
This is a mixture of Insulting and Demotivating. If you had read our discussions about single translations in this thread you knew how hard we judged and how we worked out the best translations. I am typing this text with my middle finger. Im upset so dont take it too serious .. but serious.
Hi:)
Please if it possible do not default to the system language. It made me very sad when I first noticed this after I downloaded the new version of my loved (and the best ever) emulator. Don't get me wrong I love my native language, but experiencing things in their own languages are the best, regardless if it's a poem, a movie or a computer program. Whoever invented computer related words in my country was a sadist, an accomplished torturer, and a raper of my loved native language:(
ps.: This has nothing to do with the good work of the person who did the translation, it's all about the idiotic and pathetic translated words. I understand it's just a few clicks to change, and this is not a whine-post, all I suggesting is that Dolphin should just default to the best possible settings everywhere.

Sorry, I didn't answer since glenn had already committed the translation before I even read the PM. At least I thought so, hope I wasn't mistaken?

I have read these discussions and I know how well you thought about the correct translation of stuff. I even commented on that fact:

While I do appreciate your efforts for sure, I just tried stating the obvious - that one shouldn't translate stuff without knowing what it actually means, resulting in a low-quality translation (rather than none at all, which would be easier to spot and fix by someone with knowledge in the future).
Don't take this too personal - it's easy to miss appreciation and only take note of criticism. I certainly neither meant to demotivate nor to insult you, just adding my 2c to keep the translation quality at a reasonable level.
EDIT:

Erm, trust me I know how that feels. I'm often working more than that and only get some stupid "WORK MOAAR ON DX9 PLEASE!!!" comment on my commits

Hi all!
Here is my update of the day: 99% with POT r6856. I will reach the 100% with the next update, alongside with the next POT update.
Also, I discovered again some strings which are not shown as translated in Dolphin. Here we go:
- "No audio output" in DSP-HLE (but we have translated the string)
- The whole "Software graphics" is not translated
- In "Paths" tab, Browse doesn't take system's locale string (if needed, we have already translated it in the PO file).
I have another request: could the DSP-HLE window look like the DSP-LLE window for the size? The DSP-HLE window is really too small.
Runo and glennric, as usual...
Thanks!
Pascal
Oj Im cool again =)
So just wait, and when we finished I will message you again for proofreading it <3
NeoBrainX: I haven't committed the latest German translations. I am leaving that to you unless you want me to take care of it. In that case JackyCola, LucasX, and you just need to let me know when it is ready.
FRTranslator: Thanks.
pspam: No one else seems to care.

Ok, I'll notify you as soon as we're done
