If you just compare 1x and 2x scales the graph shows a gpu bottleneck in the i7 860 (3.2GHz) /9600 gt and e6300 (3.73GHz) / 8600gt and a cpu bottleneck in all the others. While all of them are gpu bottlenecked at 3x. Either the cpu throughput needed is very low or the gpu throughput needed is very high, much more likely the first.

Do you have them using efb to ram or efb to texture? Actually could someone just give me some screenshots of the setting used in this benchmark?
I'm going to do this benchmark with the PC in my signature. This should be interesting, the first really bad PC to do this. Big Grin

My results are:

Win7 64bit, Core i7 920 @ 3,2 ghz with HD 4670 512MB memory.
1x efb scale 189 fps
2x efb scale 64 fps
3x efb scale 34 fps

What a poor result.
I also have problems when playing Super Mario Bros because I get only 75% speed already on the beginning of the game.
Because of limited space in my PC I could only update with
Sapphire Ultimate Radeon HD 5670, 1024MB GDDR5

Can any one tell me how the performance will be with this card?
Can I play Super Mario Bros at 100% speed?
H.

Your graphic card isn't that good. Was that really hard to tell?

Core i7 970 @ 3.2 ghz OC to 4.2GHZ with GTX460 OC to 900 core, 1800 shaders and 2135 memory.
1x efb scale 303 fps
2x efb scale 282 fps
3x efb scale 159 fps

What model is the460 GTX? 768MB or the 1GB version? I tried overclocking my card to 460GTX from 751 core to 850 core and i didn't notice any fps gain. Think you could retest those without OC'ing the graphic card?

1GB GTX 460. you probably wouldn't notice FPS difference until the 4x AA which actually taxes the Graphics Card.

Core i7 970 @ 3.2 ghz OC to 4.2GHZ with GTX460 not overclocked
1x efb scale 302 fps
2x efb scale 261 fps
3x efb scale 136 fps
Thanks for retesting caliblue15.

Core i7 970 @ 3.2 ghz OC to 4.2GHZ with GTX460 overclocked
1x efb scale 303 fps
2x efb scale 282 fps
3x efb scale 159 fps

Core i7 970 @ 3.2 ghz OC to 4.2GHZ with GTX460 not overclocked

1x efb scale 302 fps
2x efb scale 261 fps
3x efb scale 136 fps

Now let do the math between overcocked and not overclocked.

1x No change
2x 7.5% difference
3x 14.5 difference

Here's my math results from my benchmarking:

3.73ghz
1x 159
2x 146
3x 117

2.66ghz
1x 117
2x 108
3x 102
------------------------------

3.73ghz vs 2.66ghz

1x 26.5%
2x 26%
3x 8

-------------------------------
3.73Ghz

1x-2x 8.2%
2x-3x 20%
-------------------------------
2.66Ghz

1x-2x 8%
2x-3x 5.6%

I've seen PC game benchmarks where they compared a stock GTX 460 1GB and a overclocked GTX 460 versus HD 5850, 5870, and 6870. Surprisingly, in some pc games the overclocked GTX 460 matched and outright beat the HD 5870. But in dolphin this isn't the case, I wonder why.
