Hey guyz, first time poster here and i just wanted ta start off my entry in here by askin sumthing that has been PLAGUING my mind..XD
The rig i'm geting VERY, VERY soon:
AMD Phenom II x4 3.0Ghz processor
GTX 460 1GB
1TB HDD
4GB of RAM
650W power supply
I think those are the main parts, but should i give more info on the rig?...Ask if i need to post more o.o
Anyways, as u can see from my title, i wanna kno if this rig can handle ANY game i get (for Dolphin Emulator, OBVIOUSLY, i can already max crysis with this beast) without much lag at 1080p, or maybe even in 720p..Thanx in advance to anyone who helps! PLZ add me as a friend, too!!!! =D
It's a good rig, but the processor "could" be slowing it down in the most demanding games like Mario Galaxy 2, in which it's very hard to get full fps without overclocking and having an i5 / i7 intel processor.
But I don't think gtx 460 will max out crysis. I mean I have a 580, I put it to highest details and 8xaa @1080p, it was only about 38-45fps, cpu @4ghz. Offtopic, though.

but WOW, u got a 580? JESUS christ, wat career do ya have, cuz ima take it for college =D nah hahaha but for real, first of all, about Crysis, all i want is max setings and 1080p, and MAYBE 2x AA, thats realy all the AA i really need.
but ANYHOO, bak ontopic, so i realy WILL get a great FPS without much slowdown on any Dolphin game at 1080p?...thats all i wana kno. Like say for Galaxy 2, could it still be playable without the kind of slowdown that it'll make me get so pissed so as to break stuff?

smg 2 is not possible intel 980x get slowdown sometime and this cpu cost 2 time your pc dolphin is still in devopllement you will have to wait slowdown in smg 2 is normal
by the way if you over clock it till 4.0ghz it will near perfect in smg 2 but in some few area you will drop from 60 to 52
