As long as your gpu is powerful enough to render the scene faster than the cpu can compile/recompile/execute the rest of the code the cpu will be the bottleneck and therefore changing settings that affect rendering speed won't make a difference in performance.
This must be th minimum.
Which version do you use?
You'll hardly get full FPS in Hyrule Field with anything lower than an i7 anyway.

Hmm...thats interesting to know. Thanks.
I am not here to bring any beef to anyone, but it just seemed odd how a PC can be close to the console system. Even though, a console system is built from computer specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, HDD).
To me being a noob at emulators, yes, I am. I used to laugh at console systems, but they have improved over the past 6 years in which they get a little bit of recognition. I think its pretty cool to do all this simulation of a console gaming system. I think the team who built this gamecube/wii emulator deserves a round of applause from my behalf on the time taken to create it. Even though some games lag, but for free, im not going to complain anymore.
Thanks to all who have helped me. I appreciate your time in reading/posting your responses.
This is the gaming I am used to and fast paced FPS (126 capped) even though its overkill for a 60Hz game:

I came from die hard PC gaming and pretty much, FPS genre is slowly dying out for the PC. Call of Duty gets old faster every year they release a new title, Medal of Honor 2010 was neat with DX11, but suffered on sales. It is true that some games are better on console systems, but not the FPS and MMO category, IMO.
Emulation is nothing like playing a native platform(pc game).
It's like trying talking to a person using a translator. It will always take much more time than if you knew the native language. The benefit still stands though that you can at least communicate with each other even in a slow manner.
Rgr that. Kind of like teaching a Visual C++ student Visual Studio 2008? Coding just a bit different. I can see what you mean by. It is native to the system, but not the PC, I got it. Thanks.

That would be extremely easy by comparison. We're using totally different hardware and assembly codes on an x86 pc than a gc/wii. It's a totally different architecture. That fact that we have already come this far is amazing. I mean have you seen dolphin's source code? IT'S INSANE!

Hahaha thanks, let's pray every night for better performance, stability and bug fixing

What are your PC specifications?
