Do i need to calibrate the real wii with punch out? my existing setup works fine with new mario brothers....
dolphin v2
2 real wii remotes
quad core
4 gb ram
nvidia 9400 512 mbb
Does the game need the pointer function? If it does, you probably need to use your sensor bar (or if you already have one, you may have set the orientation wrong: Top when it's positioned at the bottom or vice versa)
I was under the impression that I dont need the sensor bar while using dolphin. The usb buthtooth adapter im using shows as "generic blooth tooth adapter" in ms device manager.
OS is Windows 7, like mentioned above dolphin v.2, and have the ntsc punch out.
Only thing i can think of if the height / depth of the blooth tongle. The pc is at the very bottom of my entertainment center, thus only 4 inches from the floor. I need to get one of the usb extension cables to see if it helps; thus evelating it higher.

I don't understand the logic behind thinking you do not need some sort of IR emitter. If the Wii requires it for real Wiimotes then why wouldn't that same real wiimote require it from an emulator? You may get lucky on a game or two and have gotten away with it - but I suggest you make or get one.
does anyone have a fix for the broken sound??? its so annoying
yeah, it makes it unenjoyable for me, though graphics seem perfect and speed is ok now... no fix as far as I know...DSP development is pretty much on ice, it seems

I tried all patches everything i possibly can do and all i get is a black screen when i start punchout. Nothing comes on only a dead black screen. Can anybody help me with this. Ill be forever in debt to u. This is by far one of my fav games on earth lol.
what are u talking about?
game works excellent on last svn and for last 500 revisions as well
no patches of any kind is needed.

Just disable the "Use EuRGB60 Mode (PAL60)" in the Config>Wii tab, and the game will work well!

there is no need for that either game works perfect.

Yeah that actually did the trick for me. But it's still a bit on the sluggish side here and there, especially the sound, which often times sounds as if the voices are underwater. This is on an Intel 8500@3.1Ghz with an ATI 5870 running Win7 64bit. Any suggestions on how to improve this?
aha then u probably have PAL version of the game, right?
couse my NTSC works without problems and does not need to turn off that pal(60) either.
