Donkey Kong Country Returns on Dolphin 720p (YT)
under specs he has XFX Radeon HD4890 1GB DDR5 (OC)
and my laptop graphic card is not as powerful as that one , Donkey Kong Country Returns , runs 10% on this laptop
BTW I'm using Dolphin SVN 5186
SPECS:
it's an ACER ASPIRE 5534
ATI Radeon HD3200 Graphics
- up to 1919MB Hyper memory
4 GB MEMORY AMD Athion 64 x 2 processor
- L310 (1.20GHz)

I was planning on ordering
XFX Radeon HD4890 1GB DDR5 and XFX 650W XXX Edition
to play Wii games on Dolphin emulator.
[color=#0000CD]Will XFX Radeon HD4890 1GB DDR5 and XFX 650W XXX Edition
work on my laptop??

Think about it. a HD 4890 is 2x thicker than your laptop itself.

You can't put a pci-e slot graphics card into a laptop.

(in fact you can't upgrade a laptop gpu at all if it's integrated into the motherboard)

Yes

ViDock 2

external video card

this is the only possible way that you could use a desktop pci-e video card in a laptop
well the 1.2ghz cpu is your problem. you need like a 3.5ghz cpu for dolphin. so.. even if you had a 3 of the most powerful ati cards in cfx mode you would still be getting 10% speed.
Agreed, your CPU is far too slow for decent Dolphin emulation.
Just buy a new one with better CPU and GPU.
Modding a Laptop has never been a great idea...

Yeah, and under the same "specs" he also has Intel Core i7 920 @ 4.05Ghz
