thank you very much for the x86 build!! now, I haven“t notice any speed increase between your build and lectrodes (at least in the games ive tested), but I do noticed that your build runs somehow smoother than his, specially in SSBB and Zelda:TP(need some more time to test some more) things load smoother (even with the cache thing there was still some lag). So yeah, thank you again for this awesome build!
just a question, theres much difference between SSE3 and SSSE3?
Thanks! I didn't expect much of a speed increase. Probably any difference is mostly attributable to the newer, "extreme", version of ICC I am using. Since we are losing another of our regular builders, I might stick around building for a little while, help out Lectrode (it's up to him really, he's the man.)
I don't know if there is much difference SSE3 vs SSSE3, heck I don't know if there is really much difference between SSE3 and SSE4.2 when all is said and done in Dolphin. It would be much more-so if there were actual hardcoded optimizations, but there aren't (there's a select few in VideoCommon,) it's generated by the compiler.
I am using my x64 build to play Wind Waker right now and it's doing great, I'm glad, no weird crashes or anything, it seems to optimization options are overall pretty stable.
Currently building x64 SSE3/SSSE3 6592. [I can build SSE2 or SSE3 with one extra additional SSE3+ path, so each build can have two SSE versions in them, with one being SSE2 or SSE3.]
Gimme any further requests anyone.. patches, old revisions.. whatever..

interested in the x64 sse3
do amd users benefit by deactivating lock threads to core? hypertransport?

Lock Threads to Cores on an AMD chipset should have the same effect as on a non-HT (That's meant to be Hyperthreading, not Hypertransport,) Intel chipset... i.e. it shouldn't really make a huge difference either way AFAIK.
hmm, sorry is it possible for me to make a request for SSE 4.1 ?
Yeah please last build 6595 SSE 4.1 X64!!!
OK coming up next! Going to try messing with DirectX9 optimizations a little first though, /Od solves the problem but isn't very helpful as it disables just about everything..
umm well, i want x86... thank you very much..
Ok I will try to get both as soon as possible.
