Full Version: DOLPHIN FAIL HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Guys i keep getting that message: Can't create opengl renderer you might be missing some required opengl extensions, check the logs for more info.


I have tried every solution, download DirectX again (about 4 times so far)
I used a different plugin once but the game didnt start up. Also, i think its becausei dotn have Direct3d9 plugin heres my log when i checked it.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
You don't have it set to use the Direcx3d plugin, you are using OpenGL. Configuration->Plugins.

I tried that already and i searched my comp for direct3d9 plugin not directx3d cause i already have that one and tried -> dont work
plus direct3dx doesnt show up in the list... only opengl i am aware that i have opengl version 1.5 but i do not know how to update it http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/images/smi...ecided.gif
Maybe thats the problem? ive looked everywhere for a good guide but gave up and decided to start my own thread
Your graphics card is probably not good enough to run Dolphin at all. What kind do you have?

Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family: That is not going to work. If you want to use the Dolphin emulator, you're going to have to buy a new PC with decent hardware.
So youre saying my computer sucks and i should get a new one? or are you saying i should get a new graphics card?

you can't get a new graphic card for a laptop. In other words, get a wii.
Thread title should not be "DOLPHIN FAIL HELP PLEASE!!!" It should be "COMPUTER FAIL"
I already have a wii just want to play on pc cause i could retexture and play with it a little. Anyways, thanks for your help ill just go give up on life
Dolphin will run on Intel Chipsets, you just need to use the direct x 9 plugin and you might not like the results
