i'm planning on getting a 5770HD 1GB .... problem is i have a 350Watt Cooler master PSU .... Do i also need a psu upgrade or with my specs it'll be just fine ??

Exact model of PSU?If other components are these from your signiture and you will not overclock it will be ehough.A little on the edge but enough.

Man, get at least 500W good rated PSU. It's even recommended by AMD. 350 W is like no for gamers.

Thats the think i don't understand, do psu's bottleneck if they aren't up to par? Or do they just not work at all?

Your pc will freeze, not work or turn off unexpectedly. Psu' s provide power to the system by converting voltages, etc. to something useful to it, they do not "bottleneck" anything. They are simply power supplies.

I have it, and im quite sattisfied with it!

Seasonic, Silverstone and Corsair make the best quality PSU's, many of them rated 80+ silver or gold. It will come with a price premium but it's pretty much the most important investment for a good computer.

Not to mention, it's a component you likely wont have to upgrade for many years (and even if you will, warranty will cover failures for free)
