any ideas?

thanks.
Some games like Zelda are actually capped at 30fps and that's the normal framerate.
Like Ocean saids some games are capped thats becouse of the region version.
30fps is ntsc version 60hz
25fps is pal version 50hz

but it doesnt seem right, everything moves so slowly.. i dont remember this being like that on gamecube..

how can i be sure of that? i mean, is there a way to test?
Set framelimit to auto and see if it is still capped at 30
Also your cpu is very weak. Probably one of the first core2duo's I assume? With that cpu you're never gonna run @ full speed.
Set the framelimit to 60, check use fps for limiting, and uncheck audio throttle. That will force the cap to 60 fps. If use fps for limiting is not checked then the framelimit refers to vps instead of fps.
Change anisotropic filtering of 4x to 1x, [check] disabled lighting, [check] disabled fog.

Uncheck lock threads to cores ...

If i enable that on my I7 930 i get terrible frames ...

But my games also stutter after 10 min of play even at 60 FPS ....
