Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Just discovered this awesome program. But having a few issues I'll discuss after posting specs.

Specs
dual core e6750 2.67ghz
8800GT 512mb
4gb ram

- Firstly games run really slow playing donkey kong it is like in slow mo.
- Text on the screen only the main is mumbo jumbo apart from the main ones 'ie START GAME'
- Any config people could recommend for setting up no defaults are set all blank
- Any config for xbox 360 wireless controller out there aswell.
- Sound screeches from time to time

Any help would be most appreciated.

Also I'm using PAL does that matter? Should I be using NTSC?

It would also be advisable to overclock your cpu if you have decent aftermarket cooling.

Just configure it in the input plugin settings.
