Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hi Guys

I have this really weird problem with Dolphin, and I am not sure what may be the exact problem.

Firstly, my LAPTOP specs are:

Intel i5 CPU M 520 @ 2.40GHz
8 GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1GB Dedicated Graphics
Windows 7

Second, I am running the Latest Dolphin revision, which is SVN R 6506 (at the time of this post ), and I am trying to play the game Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (Compressed 4.37GB ISO)

Now my problem is, that when I go into gameplay, it seems smooth, with some slowdowns, but there is a time when the game hangs and does not seem to run, but I am able to 'stop' the game and use other menu buttons.

I don't know what the cause may be, but if anyone has optimal settings for the game, or even a recommended Revision, please tell, as it will be much appreciated

UPDATE:

Need for Speed still hanging, but I got Beyblades running full speed, (hey, it was a small game ) don't know why Need for Speed isn't running the way I want it to though :/
