Monster Hunter Tri.
New Super Mario Bros.

IF those all run reasonably well, what games would be a bit difficult? , extremely difficult?

Kirby's Epic Yarn = work fine
Brawl = should work fine
Sonic Colors = work fine but only 30 fps
Monster Hunter Tri = needs special setting but still playable
New Super Mario Bros = works fine

is your computer is laptop or a desktop?
but anyways the games that you listed
should work fine but monster hunter tri
it need special settings to work and the
bloom hack.also their are a few threads
about MH3 that could help to get it to work

its a laptop (ASUS K52JT-XT1)
Thanks for the heads up on MH3, its good to know that most of the games I want will work fine though :]
