Hey everyone!
You know how the Nintendo DS has every homebrewed application anyone could ever want? Well, I plan (with permission =P and a willing and loyal development team =D) to design a special revision of Dolphin Emu that runs on the DS!

This will revolutionize portable gaming as it will allow you to play Gamecube games (sorry, no Wii, from what I've heard) on your DS!!

I need voulenteers! =D

Post with your Programming language skill, age, name, and email address to apply.
you want to emulate dolphin on nintendo DS?

if yes, thats impossible. ds has not enough computing power for gc emulating...

Emulating the GAMECUBE on the DS is do-able. Dolphin emu itself... Is not.

Emulating the PS2 on ds would be a lot harder:

(Comparison)
-Sega Genesis
CPU: 16/32-bit Motorola 68000
Clock Speed: 7.67 MHz

-Nintendo 64
CPU: 64-Bit NEC VR4300
Clock Speed: 93.75 MHz

-PS One
CPU: R3000A-compatible 32-bit RISC (Single Core)
Clock Speed: 33.8688 MHz

-Gamecube
CPU: IBM "Gekko" (Single Core)
Clock Speed: 486 MHz

-PS Two
CPU: 64-Bit Emotion Engine (Single Core)
Clock Speed: 299MHz

-PS Three
CPU: PPE (Single Core)
Clock Speed: 3.2 GHz

-Xbox 360
CPU: IBM Xenon (Triple-Core)
Clock Speed: 3.2GHz
that's not do-able and even if it would it would run at 0,0000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 FPS.
Say you want to emulate a console clocked 100 times higher than a ds on ds ?

EDIT: DS Clockrate 67Mhz; DSi 133Mhz.
GameCube Clockrate 485 MHz

See why it's so impossible.

They were able to do it with N64, Sega Genesis.
The N64 was a harder console to emulate than even the PS1!

I believe with a little bit of hardware tweaking, the community could turn a nintendo DS into the state-of-the-art portable console we all know it can be =P
But you still can't emulate a GC
I really hope this is a joke topic...
I thought that too !
But apparently it isn't !
... Well... Fine...... You win..... -_- I still believe it's possible... Some way somehow.
DS Clockrate 67Mhz; DSi 133Mhz.
GameCube Clockrate 485 MHz

LOL

EDIT: It's like emulating a Core i7 on a Pentium 3.
