Vsync is probably hurting you a little... Bi/tri probably don't help either. The resolution definitely isn't helping.

I'm just going off of my own ideas, I don't know what the game needs.
Try this first (change all the options mentioned in this list):

- Disable VSync
- Disable the Widescreen Hack
- Set EFB Scale to 'Fractional'
- Disable Pixel Lighting
- Disable Forced Bi/Trilinear Filtering
- Enable 'Use Native Mipmaps'
- Change Framelimit from 'Auto' to 'OFF'
- Disable 'Load Hi-Res Textures'
- Disable 'Use Panic Handlers'
- Disable 'EFB Copy Regions' overlay information
- Open the Windows 7 control Panel and disable 'show shadows under windows' in the advanced performance settings
- Use a lower resolution (1024x768 or lower)
- Open the Windows 7 Control Panel, go to 'Power Options' and set the power plan to 'High Performance' (remember to keep your laptop plugged while gaming)

and see if it gets you a huge FPS boost Smile

If that's not enough, check this one as well and see if it changes anything performance-wise:

- Use JITIL (experimental recompiler) instead of JIT Recompiler

If not, try these options:

- Open the Monster Hunter Tri game properties and enable the 'Block Merging' option
- If the game doesn't require XFB to work correctly, then go to the Direct3D9 graphics plugin properties and disable this option as well

Finally, try this as a last resort:

- Change the EFB scale setting to x1 (Native) instead of 'Fractional'

should help you get the game to run faster

wow.. thanks .. but its too complex. XD

any questions or anything i can do to help you understand it just post on that thread.
i know that if your specs aren't to good then that thread can definitely help you can some speed. so its worth a shot to help speed up the game you're trying to play Smile

Hmmm...this means that you're you're CPU limited as well.

This is your last chance. Try this:

- Open the Windows 7 Control Panel. Go to 'Power Options' and set the power plan to 'High Performance'
- Keep your laptop plugged while gaming (your battery won't last that long in 'High Performance' mode).

If this doesn't work, there's nothing left to do except for upgrading / overclocking your CPU (if possible) or buying a brand new laptop with a better CPU.
Fractional is no good for you with a weak GPU, set EFB Scale to 1x.
I honestly think the Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz should be acceptable for most of Dolphin's emulation. The video card is holding you back much more than the CPU. Your settings seem to be alright. Aside from enabling High Performance mode in Windows, as suggested by kirbypuff, the only other thing is to try overclock your CPU and/or GPU. If either are not possible or don't assist very much, there's not much more you can do.

But, on the bright side, investing in a newer laptop (without crushing your wallet too much) will get you a machine that'll perform much better than your exisiting laptop, and should handle Dolphin well indeed.

Yeah I think I need to buy a new one Xp
I already shut down most process and its already in high performance. this laptop its not helping T.T..
May be I've 2 choices, buy a new laptop or keep an eye for the newest version T.T

Thanks for all of your help Smile.
- Try the latest SVN build (r6495). There was a major FIFO change that improved the performance of some games:

Latest 32-bit SVN build ---> http://www.dolphin-emu.ru/svn/Dolphin_r6495_x86.7z

- Upgrade to a 64-bit OS (even if you have less than 4GB of RAM)
You'll get even more FPS if you upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit and use a 64-bit build of Dolphin (with the JIT recompiler). Try that (and the latest SVN build) before upgrading (buying a new laptop).

64-bit version of Dolphin ---> http://www.dolphin-emu.ru/svn/Dolphin_r6495_x64.7z

The GPU is fine for lower resolutions (less than 1024x768). The HD2400XT is more than enough to run Dolphin at 1X EFB scale or with fractional scaling at 800x600.

Even a slower onboard ATI graphics chip can run Dolphin at those resolutions at 60fps (if the CPU is fast enough).

It's the CPU performance that's holding him back. Dolphin needs a fast CPU and a 64-bit OS for maximum performance.
Playing dolphin on a laptop... Doesn't work. You have to have a high-end laptop to even get it WORKING let alone running it at full speed. (From experiance)
