I forgot to add that the reason this is a issue is because there is more game play after the credits are done
You should rather post your Dolphin revision, as your computer likely isn't the cause. Also, was it the wii or GC version, and was there any error messages? (Don't disable panic handlers)

Btw I played this game PAL/GC version a long time ago on r2xxx and it didn't crash during the credits.

Its GC

Dw im noob to the emu but i dont use panic handlers
And i posted system specs because a lot of the time people get asked for them so i was kind just saving time

Configs in attachments (hopefully i got everything you need)
You may use the DirectX 9 Plugin and a newer Revision !

Sorry for the dumbness of my reply i got home at 1am and ii was half asleep i was using dolphin 2.0 at the time iv upgraded to SVN6421
The new build didnt help directX3d did not help
anyone with advice

how are you testing things now? do you have a save state just before the credits? because using save states is no good...even if using DX9 would fix the issue, it might still be crashing with it if you use a save state.

other than that, try LLE sound plugin. Or try unticking all options in HLE plugin (no sound then)

Yeah i was using a save state
I loaded the game normally and still the same thing with directx3D9 enabled

The LLE plugin with dricted3D9 caused dolphin to crash with it for some reason something to do with a missing .bin :S

Tried it with no output volume with drictedx3D9 and no effect as well

Tried it with no output volume with drictedx3D11 and still it isnt working

Im beginning to suspect a faulty iso maybe wasn't ripped properly i dunno

Xample

I had this exact problem, this is currently an open issue on Dolphins Google Code site http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=1573 .

It seems to be specific to the NTSC version of Pikmin 2, you'll notice too if you try watching the whole intro video that it crashes there as well. I was stuck in the same position you were as the last few levels of the game are "after" the credits. In the end, I had to download a PAL version of the game and start from the beginning again Sad

There are only a slight few differences between the two versions, none that should be bothersome anyway. Just to note, I tried many different ways of transferring my saved game over to the other version i.e. save state copy/editing, memory card save state copying though to no avail on any of the attempts.
