Hey
I recently discovered your emulator and I have a few questions:

1. Why do I only get 30 fps max on Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD?
2. I have a SoundMAX HD Integrated Audio sound card and I don't get smooth sound (always choppy). Why is this?

My PC Specs:

Motherboard: Asus P5N32-E SLI
CPU: 2.2ghz Dual Core (Overclocked to 2.6ghz)
OS: Window 7 Ultimate 32-bit
RAM: 4.5GB
Sound Card: SoundMAX ADI 1988 (HD)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX 1GB
Sound Frequency: 44,100

One more thing:
All games play almost perfect on my other computer. Tongue
(I'm showing off now Tongue)

Specs:
Motherboard: NVIDIA 680-LT SLI
CPU: 3.0ghz Dual Core Extreme
OS: Windows XP Professional 32-bit
RAM: 4GB
Sound Card: Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic B-Stock
Graphics Card: 2X NVIDIA 8800GT SLI
1. Because that was the framerate the game was designed to run at on the native hardware.
2. Because audio emulation is still a work in progress. Also what audio backend are you using and is audio throttle turned on?
He must be using an old revision, Pokemon XD hasn't worked for a while, at least not since the 4xxx revisions. There are issues with sound emulation, more so with the HLE plugin. LLE is more accurate and produces better audio (somewhat, except for some garbage noise) but there is a large performance hit at the time when using LLE. LLE also requires the dsp rom and coefficient files to be dumped from a real Wii in order to use the plugin.

There isn't really anything that can be done about sound emulation at the time.
Graphics Plugin: Direct3D 9
Audio Plugin: DSP-HLE

Revisions being used:
Pokemon Colosseum: 5186M
Pokemon XD: 5391

Thanks for the info. I hadn't realized the game was designed to run at 30fps Big Grin
