Hello,
i'm considering buying one of these laptops.
i would like to know if they can play most of the games lagfree
(i'm mostly gonna play super mario galaxy 2)

the first one i'm considering is an samsung r580js08 with specs:
intel core i5 450m 2,4 ghz
4 gb ddr3 sdram
geforce 330m
1gb vram
500gb 5200rpm hard drive

the second one is dell vostro 3700 specs:
intel core i5 560m 2,66ghz
geforce gt330m
1gb vram
6gb ddr3 sdram
620gb 7200rpm hard drive

I can see that the dell is a better computer spec wise but how good is the quality of that computer.
Both are for the same price.

i have also been looking at:
Dell XPS L501x - 2,4GHz DC 4GB 500GB BD/DVD±RW 15"

HP Pavilion DV7-3199eo

Sony Vaio VPC-F13M1E

what laptop should i get?
What would the fps be in super mario galaxy 2?
would it be full speed?

I would get the dell... and you'd probably not get full speed but close depending on the level. I'm not sure. I don't get full speed with a computer that's nearly as good. That's a really difficult game.

Okey Tongue well i bought a hp pavillion dv6 3162eo today hehe Smile it's pretty nice Smile
dude

don't get a dell, their tech support and warranty is horrible .
I would go with the dell. I dont know about their customer service or warrenty, but their hardware build quality is pretty good from my experience. Just dont expect IBM Thinkpad quality and you should be pleased.
lol tech support and warranty... people use those? Only warranty worth buying is the accidental damage one... if even.

dell are always having lawsuits and bad reviews due to faulty laptops and their tech support and warranty

Tech support, no.. Warranty.. Why not?
The RMA rate on laptops is massive even after 6 months, up to 2-10% depending on brand. And dell is right up there with the crappiest manufacturers and worst cooling solutions.

I'm sure you remember that during it's first days, the xbox360 had a rma rate of 40-60% due to high frequency of RLOD failures,
that's almost half of all shipped units returned by customers back to ms

A better question would be, who is stupid enough to buy a laptop (or other mechanical parts such as video cards or HDD's that are prone to failure) that doesn't come with a warranty
(btw, you don't need to buy extended warranty, manufacturers provide 1-2 years required by law in almost all countries)
