I know the game needs a proper fix, I asked about what fixed this specific issue for you. I'm just trying to find the absolute best config for the time being - like I'm sure a lot of people are. And instead of sitting here like I always do and fussing with several settings to get the best display, speed and stability while not affecting other games, I thought I could ask you what specifically helped this issue so I can simply use that setting and have the best current playable experience. But christ this is like pulling teeth and now I'm getting grief...so, nevermind.

Wow... Take easy. We don't need a fight in here

... Man, Dude... I used the same settings and the same built (SVN 6373) with no more additions then longiner posted here, if this doesn't worked for you, I sorry. But if you need my settings (and these don't work either) I give to you.
And, what I fixed or my configuration fix? Absolute nothing... Like I said before, the Longiner's settings help me pass the Planet wips Act1 with the pink spike in the final part of stage.
Because if I simply turn on the wisp the black screen occurs with no doubt. But with the Longiner configuration, the time for a black screen appears isn't instantaneous, give me the suficient time for finish the level... Nothing more, nothing less.

Happy now?

This is my configuration, and don't wait to much.

Vidar

Playing in JITIL worked for me, i was finally able to finish act 1 planet wisp Big Grin

Settings:
Video Plugin : Use DX9 , OpenGL is Much Slower (always use copy efb to texture )
CPU->EFB access: Off
Use Dlist Cache : On
Enable XFB SadNot Sure , But for me it didn't make much difference)
Sound:HLE ( Audio Throttle Off)

Problems
The Game Goes Into Black Screens With The HUD working , Randomly , but mostly after smashing the ground or powering up with the pink wisp Sad

Performance on the latest Revision
The Game Is Pretty Cpu Intensive Enough to let your Mid-End CPU beg You For Mercy o_O , not like Super mario galaxy Games though Tongue , I Got 18~21
Fps on the average , but still playable.

PS: Older Revs For Dolphin Will NOT be faster , for me it also darkens the screen and produces much graphical glitches and sound problems.

PC Specs:
AMD Athlon II X2 250 @3.5GHZ
Kingstone 2GB DDR3
4200HD Dodgy

I only get the game playable when I use DX11 plugin!
Also when I unmarked the audio plugins I noticed a lot of fps improvement through 2 or 3 acts and after a while it crashed to black screen again, dammit!
Hmm, I think DX11 works better with this one. With DX9 you have those black screens (HUD only) and stuff except you go into game properties and enable a projection hack, I think ZTP and Sonic hacks both work.
Hmmmm , DX11 maybe 2~ FPS better , not sure about the black screens though :p
but what about performance ?? cant it get any better ? i mean 21fps is very average o_O
How many fps do you guys get ?

EDIT: People ...Why Does Frameskipping Make The Game Freeze ?? This's so bad SadSad
For people who use ATI (AMD) does not need to use the zelda Bloom hack, who uses NVDIA need it, just like in Eternal Darkness, using the ATI DX9 you do not have black screen.
Why ATI does not need the hack ZTP bloom, and while NVDIA need?Huh
ah, I didn't know that.
It's not the only thing where Nvidia and ATI differ, though. Nvidia users have this light blue box in the upper left side of the screen in some games (like Mario Kart Wii and Wii Sports Resort) and ATI users don't. For nvidia users that can only be "fixed" by disabling fog.
yeah, i never had those black screen problems everybody was complaining about, now i know why, sadly it runs slow for me 15-24 variable framerates
