Heh, I'm not sure anybody knows the real cause of the problem. Tongue I'll repeat myself again, the same problem happens to me when either Progressive Scan or EuRGB60 PAL mode is enabled.

The issue is, that with these settings disabled, the game will look darker than normal(same thing happens on real hardware with 50hz mode). A workaround is using a custom shader in the OpenGL Plugin to get brighter colors. Not a proper solution really, but it's the only thing that has worked well so far for me.

I've attached the .txt of the shader(it's just a weaker version of the brighten shader). Just paste it in your User/Shaders folder, and activate it on the plugin when you play Colours, *ONLY* if you can't run the game in any other way.

EDIT: That reminds me, Dolphin could possibly have some Gamma/Brightness/Contrast/Saturation sliders for general or per game settings. Could be cool to try out some new colors on a game without forcing it in your GPU control panel.
Thanks, but it's not working for me =/
Anyone have tested the NTSC version to report if we have the same issue (black Screen in the middle game) in both versions?
I have tested both version for test. Same problem.

Disabling both Progressive scan and EuRGB60 PAL mode didn't fix it? Wow. Make sure you're trying with the OpenGL plugin though, it could just be that the game is working, but the screens are black because of some projection problems...
