I also think of that... probably it doesnt affect the speed,it just makes the game more smooth while running or moving! So the more fps u get the more enjoyable the game becomes!
could you guys try to continue your conversation about this game over at the other Sonic Colors thread? It's not good to have several threads for one game and the other one has a decent first post.
merged the threads...kinda failed ... :/

Seriously, try to disable any kind of AA or some of the suggestions made so far in this thread.
Anyway, I have 30 to 40 fps which feels a bit slow for a Sonic game. Is this a progressive or a scanline game?
Drats. And if I upgrade the CPU I might as well buy a new board as my board is limited to 95w TDP.
I messed with all the AA settings, nothing really helps out the frame rate. My CPU is peaking 100% and my GPU usage just sits around 4-10%
Ah well, maybe I'll just wait a while for the programmers to tweak the code a bit for Sonic Colors. I'll shrug it off since it's still a bit new and all. I mean, I'm sure Brawl struggled on many PCs long ago due to coding and hopefully not so much the hardware and all.. ?
Gah, I'm too hopeful in my system setup, but can you blame me? Most of the Wii/Gamecube games I've played on here run at least 45-50 fps.. or maybe those games were just lucky. I dunno.
There isn't a fix for the black screen yet?
This might've been answered before but I couldn't see it anywhere. Does anyone know how to use the Wiimote for gameplay instead of it defaulting to a GC controller for some reason?
a laos have the same problem . . . than i use DX9 and all is going well . . . !!!
my specs:
Intel core 2 duo E7500 3.6Ghz
