I just got Dolphin and looked at alot of the set up stuff. I am playing Final Fantasy 4 TAY which is working wonderfully with one minor exception...the FPS is pretty laggy. I didnt know if there are any special settings I could enable/disable to make the frame rate go up. Im getting roughly 15-17.5 FPS atm. Any help would be appreciated.
Would you please provide a bit more information?

What processor do you have?
How much RAM?
What graphics card?
Settings for dolphin? Which revision?

Sorry about that lol I knew I forgot something

Processor: AMD Athlon TF-20 1.60 GHz
Ram:3 GB
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 3200

I think its the R4771 release (not for sure how to check it exactly >.>)

I have the Dual Core disabled, Idle Skipping is enabled. Frame Limit is off and everything else is defaulted. I'm using the Direct 3D9 video plugin.
enable EFB to texture in the dx9 config.
Your computer is too slow for dolphin. I don't think any amount of tweaking software will fix that.
