I've got an Idea!
My mobile phone and all the newer (smart)phones got a motion sensor inside.
If it is possible to record your moves with you mobile phone and send it over bluetooth to your PC or MAC, it could replace the wiimote Smile

I hope you can follow me Smile
This was already possible using the "UDPWiimote" feature which has been temporarily disabled in recent builds.
Revision 6269 is the latest revision with UDPWiimote enabled, though it will be re-enabled eventually. (once it is reorganized)

Personally, I think this is a silly feature. A Wiimote+Nunchuk can be as cheap as 20 dollars.
A smart phone with accelerometers costs at least $100, and it will not work as well as a wiimote, and it lacks all the buttons, and you don't get a Nunchuk.
Well, this feature is probably targeted to smart phone owners. Why spend 20$+ if you already have a smart phone?.

EDIT: And no, I would never trade a Wiimote for a smart phone as a controller.
