Resident Evil Archives (Wii) needs DList Cache disabled, otherwise it'll crash after the intro.
Dunno if that also applies for the GC version...
I'm new to Dolphin so hope this doesn't sound stupid.
When changes are made in settings (Display, Configuration, etc) does Dolphin save the settings for each game in a separate file so that you won't have to tweak the settings every time you play the games?

No, the per game settings are saved in a different file and tweaked at a different place. Right click a game in the game iso list of the program and select properties. There are the per game tweakable settings.
Thank you for that fast and courteous reply.

It is used in the latest dolphin rev. Also thanks to your "Games hanging at startup..." thread i was able to make a lot of changes. Just look here

Ah, nice! I'm glad my humble list could be of use

Just make sure that - if you haven't done so already - when doing the emulation state to use the rating system you can find here, e.g.:

btw, I've got a lot of WiiWare games...when I find the time, I'll check them also for best settings

Deadly Creatures (Wii): needs Force Filtering disabled

why?
because if Force Filtering is enabled, the video is totally glitched.
