Ok here are some preliminary game configuration settings.
gameconfig 001
Game compatibility is the main goal and not speed with these settings. I haven't changed games settings of different regions (same game - different region) as i don't know how dolphin handle such game settings. Also note that this is just the beginning, a lot of games where never tested for their settings to be changed if needed. Anyone willing to help can edit these files and re-upload them in this thread, but please don't change already changed settings without some sort of justification (for example disable xfb usage where it was previously enabled) . Any addition to the gameconfig .ini files is more than welcome.
Hmmmm, this project seems very interesting

I think I will give it a try lol, I just love diggin' on the emulator configs to find out the best one for each game XD
Ok new version is up with new additions and changes.
Gameconfig 002
You can extract these in the user\gameconfig directory and overwrite the files. As always this is a WIP.
Btw due to a Dolphin bug right now i strongly suggest to restart the emulator if you want to change a game because per game settings may become global settings, and affect games that use the default settings (their per game settings are unaltered). See
Issue 3498 for more details.
Btw since i noticed the megaupload link is down most of the time, here is a mediafire link and in zip format for those who doesn't use 7zip.
Gameconfig 002
New version, mainly affects different game regions settings of the same game
Gameconfigv003
It is a mediafire link, zip format. You can extract these in the user\gameconfig directory and overwrite the files.
Next version will probably have some updates to the emulation state shown in the GUI in addition to game settings up till now.
A couple of nice additions this one has.
Gameconfigv004
So just try it

. Among others it has updates to the emulation state shown in the GUI with info of how to make the game work right (for settings that aren't per game configurable).
It is a mediafire link, zip format. You can extract these in the user\gameconfig directory and overwrite the files.
Thanks for doing this. I'll get the results uploaded soon (next couple weeks?).
This would make - in the long run - silence a lot of noob threads, I guess. Good work

I think this should also encourage the devs to implement the missing settings in the game settings. I guess that'll be more easy after the merging, anyway...?
I just hope you know what you're doing, cuz I've seen a lot of game threads where people had all kinds of settings which didn't make sense (mostly because they don't even know what they're for; best example is the "load hi res textures"-option; EVERY noob seems to have that enabled and thinks the game looks better afterwards *roll eyes*)

Well try it out and tell me what you think. Personally my goal is to put settings aimed towards better compatibility, so that someone who keeps as default settings that provide speed(efb to texture, no xfb,no safe texture cache, etc.), have good compatibility in games that need those costly settings without either having to tinker with them or sacrificing speed by enabling those settings globally(even in those that don't need them). Since not all settings are configurable per game right now, i provide points on how to fix them in the gui by crossing your mouse over the emulation state of the game.

Sounds like a Christmas present to me

. Btw if anyone has a lot of game.ini files to provide, please upload them in mediafire or megaupload, etc. Especially i am interested in plenty of European game.ini files or Japanese ones. Although i will probably need even more help with the Japanese since i don't speak the language.
