I'm just about at wit's end (hence my username, I couldn't even think straight when I registered) about Dolphin. I'm downloaded literally at LEAST like 50 versions of the emulator and none of them can read my game. I keep getting the gay plug in errors every time; the most annoying of them all being Error Loading Plug Ins /Plugin_PadSimple.dll can't read info and then the equally aggravating Can't init any PAD plug ins and finally the one that makes me want to shoot myself Couldn't init the core. Check your configuration. I have searched EVERYWHERE for solutions to these problems; Youtube and this forum [I was signed on as a guest] I have Direct X Version 11 and I know that this computer is fully capable of playing Gamecube games. I swear all I want to do is play Mario Party 6 and have fun with Snow Whirled and the awesome boards. That is ALL I WANT and oh so help me I just can't seem to get it to work.

PLEASE. if anyone can help me solve these gayest issues in the world and get this to work for me or see if they can give me a build that works for them and they don't get the stupid errors I'd GREATLY appreciate it. I've done research for literally 5 hours with no luck and I really can't take it anymore. Hell, I even skipped my homework just to try and solve this crap.

Sorry if this was a rant, but I'm kinda furious and I just want to get this worked out.

System Info:

Windows Vista Home Premium
AMD Athlon ™ Dual Core Processor 4050e 2.10 GHz
32- bit operating system

If anyone can help me out... please do so. Confused

Note: I've also downloaded the C++ thing, and when I tried to download version 2.0 from the dolphin website, it did not show up. I believe it said "download category not defined" or something like that with not a download link in sight.

Thanks a bunch in advance if anyone can help me.

Hmmm, but have you actually run the DirectX Updater? It's important even if you have DirectX 11, MS updates individual components of DirectX every few months (without changing the DX number). That updater will check all of the DirectX components and update anything out of date.

PS I know it mentions DX9c in the link but run it anyway, trust me. Even though you are running DX11, Dolphin still requires bits of DX9/XInput/etc (plus I'm pretty sure the web updater updates all versions anyway).
I'm sure the plugins aren't as gay as you. Despite what you think, you NEED to update your dx9. If you really wanted to play your games that bad, just play on the console.

@boogerlad: The plug ins are pretty gay lol.

Anyways, it turns out that knglrk was correct. Thanks =) I dunno how to save states yet, but I'll figure it out. And thanks Uhyve too for pointing it out, guess all I had to do was install an end time of DirectX.

Thank you for the quick replies, great help Big Grin

is it at all possible, that you could possibly, maybe, kinda, be a halfwit?

coz you'd have to be to stress yourself this much over a bloody emulator when you could hand over some dosh like anybody else and buy the consoles and games.

never mind, the fact you failed to read 100% of the prior threads, wiki articles and FAILED AT GOOGLE answers that question.

Some people take games way too seriously, lol.
I couldn't care, tbh, even if my real wii bricked tomorrow. It's just a piece of plastic and metal. Same would go for my PC if I didn't need it for work

How can you look everywhere but the most obvious spot?

Good luck getting it to run smoothly (Hint: it wont!). Also, not mentioning what your video card is further exagerates that hint. I'm guessing something beginning with "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator"?
i doubt the chance of finding a IGA on an AMD MAINBOARD
