I had a thought earlier today with the PS3 being jailbroken and it being more powerful than the Wii/Gamecube in theory couldn't this Dolphin be ported to the PS3. Not only that shouldn't it be easier since the PS3 is PPC.

I will summarize the answer in all of these threads (including by the developers). NO. It is not going to happen, period. And it is not practical to try either. It would be a complete waste of time.

Why would you want to use Dolphin on PS3? It makes no sense. You wouldn't be able to run things like SSAA, 16x AF, etc...
And besides that, coding for the PS3's "cell" processor is supposedly stupidly complicated, so much so that some companies won't even code games for the system.
PS3's not that powerful anyways. Just look at how many games can't even run in proper 720p, it's just stupid.
