20 + games to redump that sucks
you don't take all the knifes in the world and make them edgeless (with all the inconveniences of not having knifes Wink ) just because they can be used to kill people, do you?

I wouldn't.

As everyone else said, it's really not any of our business. Anti-piracy measures in Dolphin will only make things more of a hassle for everybody and will eventually be circumvented anyway. We don't need to do to emulation what DRM has done to music.
hey nintendo dont like dolphin..

I especially liked this part:

"A Nintendo emulator allows for Nintendo console based or arcade games to be played on unauthorized hardware. The video games are obtained by downloading illegally copied software, i.e. Nintendo ROMs, from Internet distributors"

Yes, because all ROMs and disk images are downloaded from the internet and nobody rips their own. Rolleyes

Gotta love propaganda.
The problem with #1 is that I am currently using Dolphin as a replacement for my Wii besides testing games since I can't afford to buy a new Wii right now. I dumped my games prior to bricking my Wii so if this was done I would have no way to re-dump my games and I don't have a compatible LG drive either.
nintendo's legal faqs are quite funny

theres a section were explaining that counterfeits is piracy
now thats funny

i have 3 three original wiimote that i bought at my gamestop and 1 that i bought at DX and nintendo
consider a fake wiimote piracy.

nintendo is ridiculous.
Are Game Copying Devices Illegal?

Yes. Game copiers enable users to illegally copy video game software onto floppy disks, writeable compact disks or the hard drive of a personal computer. They enable the user to make, play and distribute illegal copies of video game software which violates Nintendo's copyrights and trademarks. These devices also allow for the uploading and downloading of ROMs to and from the Internet. Based upon the functions of these devices, they are illegal.

OH NO!!!

*Throws Wii out of window*

I never really owned that wii, I swear Angel
Either Nintendo is retarded or they are just trying to scare people. If emulation was illegal these corporations would have already had their way, the projects would have been shut down and the owners/developers sued. Even selling emulators (commercial emulation) isn't illegal by any means so Nintendo should stfu.
